Overview:
Stranger Than Paradise Productions Limited is a macro boutique production house based in West London. We’re an ambitious, creative and bold, a trusted partner to a group of world-class clients and a team that’s on a mission to build premium video contents from documentaries to music videos, from promotional to fiction.
We are looking for a very talented web developer and IT consultant to help the business to compete with the very best in the world of online. This role involves a variety of tasks such as coding, tweaking the website(s), set out online strategies and improving our SEO performance.
Please note that this is NOT an entry level role. Please make sure you match the criteria before you apply.

About The Role:
As a web developer, you will be in charge of making sure sure that the main website is running as best as it can, is free of any faults and is designed to the highest standards.

Salary: Daily rate.

 

Key Requirements:

  • In depth knowledge of web developing and customisation.
  • Advanced SEO skills to maximise business' online performance.
  • In-depth understanding of Google Adword and Adsense campaigns and how to organise and manage them.
  • Providing advice to improve the brand's identity online.
  • Sell our full portfolio of strategy, production and distribution services online.
  • Outstanding knowledge of Wordpress, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills and E-Commerce.
  • Planning and delivering security principles.

 

About You:

This is a role for an experienced web developer who can contribute greatly to expand Stranger Than Paradise Productions' horizon in the world on online. Untimately the purpose of this role is to present the brand in the most effective way so we are able to increase awareness of the our brand amongst key target client and contact lists. A general understanding of Film, TV and media industry is key, with energy and determination to make brilliant things happen. You must meet all the following requirements:

  • Relevant previous experience and academic background.
  • General understanding of Film, TV and media industry.
  • A strong understanding of online marketing and e-commerce.
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent writing skills to amend online contents.
  • 'Go the extra mile' attitude.
  • Excellent time management and team-work skills.
  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
